Maliha Ahmed

  • Maliha Ahmed is an Associate of Vertex Chambers. She is an Advocate of the District and Sessions Judge Court, Dhaka. She has completed her LLB (Hons.) from the University of London, UK and is now training to be a Solicitor of the Law Society of New South Wales, Australia. Ms Ahmed co-authored the Bangladesh chapter of the 2019 and 2020 editions of Lexology Getting the Deal Through, Labour and Employment and Investment Treaty Arbitration 2021. She also acted as the research associate for a Chapter of the book “Secured Transactions Law in Asia”, which is co-authored by Junayed Chowdhury and published by Hart Publishing.

Ameer Faysal

  • Ameer Faysal is an Associate at Vertex Chambers. He is a Barrister called to the Bar of England and Wales by the Honourable Society of Lincoln’s Inn in 2018. He holds an LL.B (Hons) from the University of London, UK and is accredited as an International Civil-Commercial Mediator by ADR-ODR International, in association with the University of the West of England, UK. In 2023, Mr. Faysal was called to the Dhaka Bar and now practices as an Advocate at the District and Sessions Judge Court in Dhaka. He specializes in corporate and commercial law, with expertise in company matters, telecommunications, banking, taxation, intellectual property, arbitration, and infrastructure. He also handles international trade, foreign direct investment, and labour and employment matters in Bangladesh.
